Main Page > Battlefield 1 > Third Phase

This is the Third Phase of the main Easter egg in Battlefield 1. It is also a current on-going Easter Egg. Little is known about it at this moment. It continues with the Tsar maps, with each map being used.

Summary

All 6 Tsar maps contain a small decal of a skull along with some kind of clue. The skull is known to be the signature of a well know easter egg developer named JJJU. The map named Albion contains a series of interactable crates, switches, and a radio antenna that emits morse code. The meaning of these symbols, and the logic behind the switches, is currently unknown.

Symbols

Tsaritsyn

Jjju-symbol-case.png

Inside a 'Julian Manolov' shop, just west of the cathedral, a familiar skull along with the word "CASE" can be found.

Volga River

Jjju-symbol-bd.png

On the base of the flagpole at the 'A' base, a skull along with the writing "B [_] D" can be found. The box appears to be scratched out.

Lupkow Pass

Jjju-symbol-lone.png

A lone skull image can be found on a stone wall near the 'C' flag. Inside the nearby ruins, a flashing glowing orb can be found that delivers the following morse code message:

TEST FAILED ANGELS LOOSE PROCTORS ... DEAD ... TRI ODIN(--.--) NOLX (---.)ETYRE ODIN(--.--) DWA

The words, and unusual morse characters at the end are russian morse for these numbers: 310412

Galicia

Jjju-symbol-fear.png

The third boxcar from the east contains a very small skull with the word 'FEAR' under it. It's almost impossible to see without a light source, and can be destroyed.

Brusilov Keep

Jjju-symbol-web.png

The western edge of the map, in the river, contains a downed tree with a skull and the word 'WEB' under it. The tree cannot be entirely destroyed.

Albion

This map contains additional easter egg functionality explained by the other post.

Symbol Locations

Albion

Radio Tower Cases

A series of 9 metal cases, found around the radio antenna near 'D' base, are interactable when approached from a specific angle and height. A click sound is produced, and can be pressed endlessly.

House Switch

Inside a house near the 'F' base, hidden on the lower wall behind a chest of drawers, a skull along with an electrical switch can be found.

Lighthouse Switches

Mounted on the interior walls of the lighthouse are 6 switches attached to light fixtures. They can be destroyed along with the rest of the lighthouse.

Lanterns

The 6 houses in the area of the lighthouse each contain a lantern that can be broken to enable one of the lighthouse switches.

Summary

After inputting a sequence of case presses, the lone house switch will 'unlock' and can be pressed. By alternating case sequences, and house switch presses, morse code can eventually be heard emitting from the base of the radio antenna. After 2 successful case/switch exchanges, the lighthouse switches can be enabled through the breaking of nearby lanterns. The logic behind this system is still to be determined.

The morse messages heard are 5 character sequences that repeat indefinitely. Here are some reported examples separated by commas:

BCEBE, BCECE, BFCDA, DAEEF, CFBED, FCADA, FBFDA, FFFFF, CCAAE
